Please drop off at the loading dock at the rear of the building during
donation hours: Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM
Habitat ReStores are nonprofit retail centers where new and gently used building materials and home furnishings are sold at discounted prices.
The ReStores are our solution for turning these donations, from generous and environmentally concerned individuals and businesses, into money to build homes for families.

UNACCEPTABLE DONATIONS
Damaged / Unsafe Items:
• Anything broken or non-working
• Items with stains, odors, pet hair, holes, or tears
• Items covered in toxic substances
• Recalled itemsFurniture & Large Items:
• Excessively worn or damaged furniture
• Particle board furniture (heavily worn)
• China cabinets, hutches, desks
• Large organs or pianos
• Baby cribs
• Mattresses in poor conditionBuilding Materials:
• Carpet padding
• Lumber under 4 ft
• Less than half sheets (plywood, drywall, paneling)
• Materials with nailsAppliances:
• Dishwashers
• Water heaters
• Gas appliances
• Non-working appliances
Hazardous / Restricted:
• Chemicals, fuels, propane
• Pesticides, fertilizer, opened paint
• Fluorescent bulbs/fixtures
• Weapons or ammunitionElectronics:
• Tube TVs
• Computer towersMisc:
• Used toilets
• Unframed mirrors/glass
• Tires
• Perishable food
• Unsafe blinds (not child-certified)
• Hygiene itemsOperational Limits:
• Items too large for 2 people
• No cleanouts from sales
All donations for pick up must be in Highlands County unless they have been turned down by their local Habitat.
Please DO NOT leave items outside the Habitat property after business hours.
