We are excited that you have considered Highlands County Habitat for Humanity to share your time and talents!  There are a variety of opportunities for you to share your skills with our organization.  Every person has a skill that will assist us with our mission to help better our community.  Please feel free to contact our local office to find out how you can volunteer. You can also fill out your volunteer forms in advance by printing the following forms: Volunteer Data Sheet, Work Site Safety Form, Release and Waiver of Liability for Adults, Release and Waiver of Liability for Minors

Home Building:

Few things are more rewarding than learning and mastering a skill for the first time.  We at Highlands County Habitat for Humanity have the resources and people to teach just about anyone to help construct a home.  You can share in the experience of building a home using the latest building systems available.  (See link regarding SIP construction) You'll learn aout pouring a foundation, framing a house, installing drywall, painting a home or landscaping.  Whatever your current level of skill is there is a place for you on our team!  We have an orientation program that will prepare you for your first day on the construction site so that you will be prepared and safe.

Whether you are answering phones or helping on a large project, your skills are appreciated and needed to assist in our day to day operations.
